David has found that many people are very interested in Greek history, particularly when they learn how much of Western culture and language has originated from the Ancient Greeks. This section will give you an idea of just how much we have been influenced by Ancient Greek thinkers. |
Apart from his ancestory, David has another reason to enjoy Greek history. His late father Albert was a teacher, historian and author of some 52 books, many of them written about Greek history. David was brought up on a diet of history and philosophy and consequently inherited his fathers love of history and philosopical discussion. He also inherited Albert's vast book collection on these subjects and uses characters, metaphors and wisdom from these books to reinforce key messages in his presentations. This section contains a sample of icons, characters, anecdotes and quotes that David uses in his Acropolis Leadership programs.
